I'm bored and I don't feel like working so, here ya go.
Slot 1 - "Here There and Everywhere" by Rae Williams. I had fun in this game. I played Veronica, a character from a previous campaign that I've turned into a con character. I typically enjoy myself in Rae's games. She uses the "underground london" concept from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere book which makes the game interesting for me. It was a good start to the con as it was a fun light-hearted game.
Slot 2 - Off, slept in and went shopping. v. nice - I got new shoes : )
Slot 3 - "What light through yonder shadow breaks" or something like that by John Lees. I had a blast in this game. I played Taryn, daughter of Bleys - young, perky, bi-sexual and out for a good time. The story was light, the other players fun and I got to sleep with the most beautiful woman in the world. Who could ask for more?
Slot 4 - Game Two - Freeze Tag by Rachel Holmberg. My top pick for the con. This was a really fun game (and so eccited that it's an on-going campaign!) and a great group of players. I play Summer, the popular girl. Rachel did some fun things with the 'popular' angle of my character and we mainly spent the session on character relationship development, which was great. Summer is now in a budding romance with Miguel (not sure if that is spelled right) who is George's character. We had just enough plot to keep us goong and the player's pretty much took it from there.
Slot 5 - Ebb TIde - Undertow 2 by Simone Cooper et. al. As previously mentioned, I played NPC Flora and co-ref. Had a wonderful time.
Slot 6 - Morpheus Drowning by James Arnoldi. We hopped in on James due to Nick canceling his game. Poor James was ill prepared for the influx of combat monster characters so, the game suffered a bit for some of us.
Overall, it was one of the best cons in the past few years for me. James and I have been talking of ACNW and we are hoping to actually attend this year again. I need to get through May before I can say for sure.
